Senior Pictures: MaryElla & Someone Awesome

I always get he question where should we take pictures, I personally feel like everything has to come together for location to matter. Think about what your going to wear and that is the starting point for determining where might be a good fit as far as locations.  This is MaryEllas’ Senior year so I am celebrating this milestone by photographing her once a month and choosing a client to go with her on each session. I have only completed two so far and I wanted to share a few images to help inspire locations for those that may be stuck on ideas where to go. I will update this post each month will new locations so check back.

Agora Borealis, is a really cool store on Lake st in Shreveport. they sell original art from local artist in our area. The entire block is a treasure and the perfect place to take a few pictures ( go buy some awesome jewelry )

July: Ella & Audrey

Some of my favorite places to take portraits are usually person to each client, When you feel comfortable in a location it shows up in your expression. No matter what your wearing or how amazing your hair and makeup is, if you don’t relax and just enjoy the moment it can determine if you like your images or not. You will remember the laughing and feeling silly or the stress and clothes you hated. Choose these things carefully!!!!

People take a portrait just a handful of times in their life and you want them to be memorable. I can not wait to see what September, October, November & December will look like.
